Personally I’d be upset too if he didn’t rely on me or didn’t seem as upset about it as if they have little to no care, like let me comfort you please but I do think Hayden should back out of that a bit, give some space…

(SPOILERS) yea!! i rlly get where hayden is coming from, just i think it wasn't the time for it nor the appropriate response, him having the meltdown was what pushed brett to end their relationship after all like their heightened emotions lead to more and more bad decisions so excited for the next season !!!!
The meltdown is for Brett too I assume. Hayden is confuse why he is the one who is grieving over this more than the victim..
Idk if this thought process is right or true, but it's the only explanation I got for his place. I don't justify it, but it is to an extend not out of pocket thing to do
I’d be questioning too, but I’d also understand and assume maybe the victim is in shock and processing still or blocking the emotion out.
Hayden had a reasonable reaction to the way Brett was reacting, the questioning part like you said: Confused as to why he is the one grieving over this more than the victim.
