Considering Renjaku-san’s personality throughout the story, I don’t think he sincerely meant that they’d find time in the schedule. I believe he actually has zero intention to ever go meet them unless Hana asked him explicitly.
Why tf would you agree to go meet his parents when you know what they did to him?? The nerve of the father to just casually tell them to visit like some tsundere when they were absolutely trash to the MC
