I feel bad for Regina.. they keep bad mouthing her. She seems to have run away with someone who fooled her into thinking he loved her at 16. Then she was [SPOILER ALERT] killed by a jilted lover of the man who tricked her. A smart thing she did was swallow the necklace to prove who it was that killed her and who tricked her. But they didn't even say anything about that either.
