i think he went back in time in a different body, so like the things his dad did technically didn't happen bc i don't think his og body exists in this timeline... so there's nothing the dad can make up bc those things didn't happen
yeah but the fact that he still cheats though? like, his little brother is real and the mistress is also real, so the dad did technically did do those terrible things but the only difference is he's not the son of his and he's not the father of the mc anymore
