Them finding their happiness part is so true toki found solace in painting and though ima didn’t find a complete resolution atleast she was able to face her problem head on. I’m actually really impressed by the depth they delved into such issues and how certain matters we know will never have a perfect ending like ankeis revenge or the village admitting to how they drove mios dad to his death it’s bittersweet in a way
This was not bad but damn my heart hurts. I went into this just expecting monsterfucker but left with angst and plot.
There’s definitely lots of heavy themes in this manga, like being outcasts, living as survivors of childhood abuse and trauma, experiencing betrayal, and loneliness. (My gripe is that the smutt scenes extras kinda messed with the stories flow but it’s meh)
My favorite characters have to be the children. I’m sad that they’ll never be fully accepted in either society (animal or human), but I think in the end they’ll find their happinesses.
Damn.
Well, this hasn’t been updated in a while, anyone know if the manga is finished?
