It's the uncle...and it seems that he would this for sure take his nefew (son!) with him
It was the Kid that answered the phone in the end. You can see the tape on his hands as he is holding the phone. Also, why would the uncle answer the phone but not untie the kid's hands? He was too busy spiraling into despair, after doing it with his possible son, to do anything.
you are right dang i did not look at the panel carefully. you can indeed see the bandage!
Is it the uncle or the son that hangs up at the end? It would technically make more sense if it's the uncle. But judging how there's traces of bandages on what's supposedly the wrist area, it makes me think that the son dials the call.
