I know the empress is evil but why is she such a baddie. I hate her so much, but like if she had her own story about her being a villainess I would read it. (⊙…⊙ )
I mean who wouldn't be a villain when your pathetic husband has a mistress and the mistress has a kid who could threaten your son's rightful position as heir. But you're the villain and the mistress ain't.

You know damn well that even if the king didn't bed Perez's mom, the Empress would still be a villain, she didn't even care about her father dying, that speaks volume of her character as she's cruel to everyone and is selfish. If her husband cheating is the only thing that pushed her to become what she is now, it's obvious that she's always been that way and only used that reason as a fuel to be more cruel. Not to mention, emperors are allowed to have concubines.

You’re preaching to the wrong choir in this series. Serval isn’t a villainess because she’s trying to protect her son’s claim to the throne. She’s a villainess because she only wants power and will do anything she can to get it. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is a pawn to her. Even her own son, hence why he’s been trying to break away (only because he’s her copy and doesn’t like being told what to do). If Astana’s claim to the throne was secure (ie no Perez and Lombardis support Astana as the heir) she would’ve gotten rid of the emperor already. But because there’s too many unknowns that can easily shake Astana’s claim to the throne, she’s willing to take it slow and build up his foundation first (marriage alliance, west side tourism for money, etc).
She is pretty. :( I feel kinda bad for her that her life is full of failures recently. Gravenshi
really? With the consequences of her plans succeeding being a giant disadvantage to the main characters (Tia/perez), do you still think that? You also wanted her plan for the marriage alliance to succeed with Astana and Laraine?

Have you tried putting yourself in the antagonist's shoes for once? It sucks to be met with countless failure. You need not to be good nor evil to feel hopeless.

╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Just saying, Sis has all the reasons to get rid of Perez and Perez's mom.

And that's why she is a queen. Sis has her priorities. Honestly Perez and Tia are the villains in all of this. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I've used the internet for decades already yet somehow it still surprises me a little when I encounter brainless people who have questionable morals. ( ̄ ‐ ̄)んー
