He's trying to prove that what keita feels for him is just a liking in terms of friendship whereas tomoya's feelings are deeper to the point that sex is something that he has imagined having with keita. He wanted keita to not casually say "let's date" when he doesnt mean it coz that means keita must be prepared for a physical relationship too (which he obviously wasn't). Im sure he wasnt planning to pounce on him, it was more like a way to make keita back off coz he's clearly unsure abt his feelings
