No but actually!! This is a good depiction of how some people feel. Like, the psychology of it is well written! They know they're getting hurt, but leaving for the unknown is a thought that terrifies them, that's why some victims of abuse have a hard time moving on, because their brain is fucked with anxiety and isn't making logical decisions anymore.
Anyhoo, yes this isn't romance and the top makes me cringe so bad, but at least this side story has some interesting parts!
