Okay y'all. Personally, I think this is Art, Art.
The portrayal of the the theme sure was controversial but it has depth.
It's poetic like a painting. I can see a lot of remorse, grief, regret, depression, guilt, struggles of burdens, acceptance and etc. I feel like the involvement of the god was metaphorical and there are bunch of ways to interpret his role in the story. I don't think he's even a god here.

Reading this, after the shock settled lol, it reminded me of the mangas that introduced me to the genre. Back then, contents were mostly slice of life focused (at least those that I was exposed to), storylines were invested in the characters' persona, which evoked thoughts about the issues tackled by the characters. snu snu was merely a cherry on top to the characters 's love story.

This one, controversial and explicit depiction aside, makes one wonder about the extent of what people on the priest's shoes experiences, the complexity of human emotions and actions, the depth of a survivor's guilt, the murkiness of war, desperation of a fanatic, and fear of sin. Yeah, it's just like a painting.
