mhm exactly! but also, didn’t the mc scare them enough for them to think straight like if i had someone like that after me, wanting to kill me that bad for what i’d done i wouldn’t be able to sleep at night for the rest of my life. instead all they can think about is going through with the kidnapping and not thinking about what could happen in the future
YESSS EXACTLY LIKE THE WAY THESE CHARACTERS ARE SET UP EXPLAINS THE WAY THE WHOLE ASSOCIATION IS AND LIKE idk why the ml is so shocked when the mc is like " i dont wanna join yall are insane and dont do whats right" and then the ml is like "were not like that". . . like dude the way yall are all acting is enough reason for the mc to NOT join.
