He gets better than jail

So, the guy is technically still a minor (14 and under), so they can’t really prosecute him or take legal action. Instead, Jin-bae and the CEO send his family overseas under the condition that he never contacts or takes any further action against the MC. Before leaving, he asks to meet the MC to “apologize.” When they meet, the MC tells him what the Fog says is his karma, saying, “Watch out for your knees — and call me when it happens.” Sure enough, his knees shatter, and he calls the MC. The MC then says, “Your waist is next,” which is honestly pretty funny. And that’s that.

But way down the line, when the guy is in America, he decides to post about being bullied as a kid (I think), which causes some problems. They track down who’s behind it — and it turns out it’s the same guy. Once again, the CEO and Jin-bae handle it, telling the MC that it’s better not to know what they did. Even when the MC asks the Fog, it refuses to tell him. Then we get a glimpse of what happened: they faked his death to his family (only his father knows he’s alive), and now he’s living in a tiny room on a boat, completely cut off from the world, somewhere on the ocean in Russia.

Karma's got to him, I guess. I almost felt sorry for him, but he deserves it. Actions have consequences, and clearly he doesn't think.
