1. I think it isn’t just Daphne and Celestian who regressed, I think Psyche regressed as well. I feel like Daphne is remembering way more things than she should and is confusing things that way. Like how Celestian asked her how she came to believe he loved Psyche, as if he’s never shown it by that point. And perhaps he hasn’t killed Psyche family in this timeline, but all three remember it which is why the hate Psyche has exists.
2. I wonder what led Celestian to fall for Daphne and if it was in the current timeline. I’m also genuinely curious to see how Daphne will react once she realizes that Celestian was in love with her from the start. She’s been so strange with her love for him because outside of his regular looks, it’s genuinely his despair and sadness that makes her heart go wild. Everything she likes to remember about him is how heartbroken he was over Psyche. I think she genuinely started liking him now, but i feel like she won’t be readily accepting of him loving her.
3. It’s so funny to see people say they hate Romeo. He’s basically Daphne’s double. Absolutely love their interactions. It’s the hate/love type, the frenemy type, the i hate you but take care of yourself type. Yall must be frustrated while reading half this story because neither he nor Psyche are going anywhere.
