I know all the ml are scum, but isn't that how they were written?
Some of them are bound by the plot and path of the world it seems.
How is it then fair for our fl to take revenge on these guys, when some of them can do nothing about their behaviour. Wouldn't it be more fair to punish the authors who write these scumbags?.
That’s actually a good point, and actually there was one arc where ML suddenly realized that things he was doing did not make any sense and out of character for him, so he got his free will and started acting based on his own interests. When FL realized that, he even told her how he also realized things that second ML did were also ridiculous and weren’t things a person with such character would do. FL also said several times that a lot of those novel worlds were poorly-written craps. I dropped this manhua around 150 ch so I don’t know whether they explained more about the system FL is in, but I hope at some point the focus would be shifted at the authors like you said
It started out real good, but after around 100 chapters, rather than getting smarter and more cunning, antagonists became more and more dull and idiotic 2D characters with no depth. And plots in newer arcs also started to become more childish and wattpady. Idk maybe I will skip some arcs just to learn more about MC’s past
