Fair. I apologize. Reading my message again, it does come off very harsh. I think the point I meant to say is that for these characters, this is their reality. Not worrying to me would seem cold hearted. Though I understand that many novels now love to give inhuman strength to characters, which makes that strength seem normal to us readers. We know he's the male lead, so with character halo, he won't die. But she doesn't know that.

I get it too. He strong as hell. That's why he was given the name uigru. But it's natural to worry bc they rely group to survive. Once you get separated, it's gg. Plus , not only that , Riftan never had anyone worry for him before. Riftan must accept her worries and growth in order to grow as a person.

So, when Riftan is being an overprotective control freak it's apparently justified because Maxi is "a weak damsel who needs all the protection she can get," but apparently it's *wrong* if Maxi does it??
God forbid Maxi's the one who decides to take a stand and actually be proactive because she's sick of waiting on the sidelines, worrying about her husband's safety while also realizing that she has the power to protect him as well. No, I don't give a shit. I'm tired of the unwarranted hate towards Maxi. She is growing, maturing and has become a stronger person because of it, meanwhile Riftan has been holding her back due to his short temper and overprotective nature.
Maxi pisses me off so much sometimes, like girl knows damn well that her husband is legit the best and strongest man ever and like he's done stuff like this hundreds of time, and yet she still acts like he's gonna die. Like I get it but also ts pmo ಠ_ಠ
