finally finished this one, love verta she's one bad bitch, should've been a harem I'm ngl but her and the ML work and I'm actually not mad at it, the ending was unsatisfying as shit. idk it just felt like all that build up to her defeating carter and then it just fell flat. same goes for the second ML idk it was all kind of rushed??? ignoring the fact that van is basically an 89 year old grandpa in the body of a 20 something man in the side stories, the extra chapters were kind of cute to me idk I'm down bad for puppy dog men who love the ground their women walk on. but he STILL doesn't know her true nature I feel like and honestly blaine over van simply because I feel like van loves the version of her he has in his head, meanwhile blaine loves the true her. overall I recommend
