I remember how much I loved this novel until Maxi left with other people to learn magic and left Riftan for 3 years. The reunion didn't turn out as I thought and the end of the whole novel felt..."thats it"?
It might sound mean but yeah, I wanted that typical cliché happy ending! Haha! Their communication gets a little better but far from other couples in other novels! (Sorry, just my opinion) Can't wait for Riftan to beat the shit out of Maxi's dad though! That was gold in the novel! <3
