And ik exactly why the author is doing this, it's for them to be all suddenly be surprised "oMg ShE's So NiCe!!!" But there gotta be a better way to execute it would've been better if they made it where the younger maids r the one gossiping and the head maid shushes them.
The head maid in chapter 39 should NOT be the head maid. She's literally acting like a pesky maid who wouldn't stop yapping and theorizing of how the new mistress of the house is some evil lady. It would've been fine if she just kept it in her head and prayed that the fl would be a nice lady, but nooooo she has to yap about it to everyone and basically almost the whole chapter. It's literally so unprofessional, why is she acting like she's a teenager??? Your literally the head maid! I hateee HATEE characters like this, and they r portrayed as someone who's just worried for the masters she's serving, but goddamn in all of your yrs(prolly decades), you've never learned basic manners of closing your mouth? Shouldn't you display as a good model to the younger/newer maids so they won't gossip around like what your doing???? Ridiculous.
