quick question to the novel readers but will there be harem in this?

100% not harem. The feelings are just one sided from the girls

I'd still consider it harem even if it's one sided. Having a gaggle of girls thirsting after one dude will always harem in my eyes and isn't enjoyable to read. What matters is how noticeable it is and how big of an impact is has on the overall feel of the story.

i hold this same view, albeit it’s not as bad as the mc going out with all of them like arifureta…but it really ruins the mood for me considering the girls are what underaged and are still in school?

I'm not completely caught up with the arifureta manga, but where I left off the Mc only had feelings and was in a relationship with the vampire and the other girls accept that and settle for being around him. Then there's the merfolk woman. That situation was a bit odd since he kinda just took responsibility for her because her daughter reffered to him as her father and her husband was gone. I dont know about the relationship dynamic adter that since I'm letting it marinate. From what I saw of the anime, they went way overboard in that regard...

Yeah, that age gap is weird. I know it's a thing for teens to have feelings for teachers or just find them attractive, but it's weird regardless. Just reminds me of in high school when half the girls in my math class found the substitute teacher attractive while the guy was just trying to do his job. Even as early as 6th grade i can remember students being interested in the adults around school that way. I do wonder how large the age gap is. Has the ages of the students been talked about? Of course Mc would never even think about a student that way for a second, it's just hard to tell how old the students are by just looks alone.

This is such a common trope in isekai mangas and manhwas + in real life. there’s a fanclub for a male teacher in my school, regardless of the guy being married with kids…anywho, in terms of this manhwa, i don’t think it was ever mentioned how old the blonde girl is…i presume somewhere between 16-18? with the mc being late 20s or early 30sv please correct with if im wrong..

Hmmmm, I'm gonna go to the beginning and check. I think the Mc's age was mentioned, at least the age of the guy he possessed. Fantasy man's (i dont remember how to spell his name) age is important so we know just how weird it is for the students to like him. They should know how old the man is given that he is quite well known.

So after looking at the wiki I have learned some things on the subject of this being a harem... some could be a spoiler, so tell me if you want to know.

Well... not quite. I also found his age. It was hiding from me since I'm not used to the wiki format on mobile. At the start he is physically 33 with a 35 year old mentality.

It's hard to tell who exactly are the major characters from the wiki, but it appears that a lot of them are women. This is what I found so far.

Allen (teaching assistant) 24: yup, Allen is a girl in disguise and she apparently confesses to him. The part about her confessing isn't on her wiki page but on the mc's page under 'relationships' so I don't know how accurate this is. Looks like she will be important in the long run.

The emperor Sophien Aekater Augus von Jaegus Gifrein: the only exception to Mc being a germaphobe. Is also a woman. Is said to have complicated feelings for the Mc and is prone to jealousy. She seems like an interesting character though. Lots going on here.

Sylvia (blond student): he literally dies for her. Like a lot... she's also obsessed with the man but tries to deny it. She spies on him with the bird and keeps a sketchbook with his portraits. A lot of them. Epherene is said to be 17 on the wiki, so Sylvia is likely to be around that age.

His sister: has brocon tendencies

Some people have even stopped reading because they got spoilers for the tragedy part and didn't think they could handle reading it. That has me excited. I love me a good tragedy.
