Lol yea, I’ve noticed that a lot in regression stories as well. Where the MC lives a horrible first life full of suffering and then dies miserably before coming back and it was revealed this random guy apparently loved her desperately in both lives… yet did nothing at all to help her from her suffering

But why did he only appear now? Why didn't he looks for her when she was struggling? When her family got ruined that she was sold off to an old duke??
