Well I love Tricornered but I don't think it's fair to compare this and Tricornered Window since they have totally different vibes. This one is less depressing than Tricornered. This story is more lighthearted and easy, while Tricornered Window is more heavy with plots and trigger warnings.
The only title that I can think of that is similar to this story is Fukigen Mononokean. They both have episodic plot.
no yea agree, i also don’t think it’s fair to compare them but i just see a fair bit of people bringing up tricornered when i really don’t see any similarities other than supernatural elements (when plenty other stories have that, probably in more similar ways) and tricornered is one of my favorite series
i haven't read tricornered (where can i read it pls) but i think you read this expecting it to be similar to that but ended up getting scammed hence ur disappointment. just bc u expected a different vibe doesn't make this manga automatically bad.
just search up “Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru” here and you’ll get it!! i did hear it being connected to tricornered but even then i didn’t have real expectations bc of the name, and just totally separate from tricornered i still don’t really think this series is that good but ofc that’s my opinion, to each their own

Although I am a diehard Sankaku/Tricornered fan... I also like this one a lot too. It reminds me of old school supernatural 90s manga with a hint of comedy like Tactics. Or is closer to like... Youkai Apartment in cuteness.
