I feel like him going back and not getting any news from wei yun was the trigger for his mind to break down. His reaction doesn't seem that unnatural for me, specially considering they are pretty close from the accident day

you really do hate the idea of men being emotionally vulnerable and it shows

plus just bcs he's showing such emotions doesn't mean that he's being "lady-like" since that's basically our way of expressing ourselves as HUMANS

People often regress when there is trauma.

ptsd/trauma has a huge impact on a person. he has trauma and he’s acting no different from irl people who have to deal with trauma

I think that's called ptsd bro ; let's say a friend very close got hurt badly due to a car incident, to the point where you thought they died, wouldn't you be scared for them to go through it? It's just basic emotions...?
