You said it : she's exhausted. And even if she found the big secret behind the sect and the sister's fake identity, what will she gain in the end ? She only wants to get out of this game. Personally i love when the characters are at their wit's end

The problem is she doesn't really care about anyone enough to make more of an effort to reveal Yvonne. She was already at her wits end just trying to appease them enough not to die. Constantly being st the back end of situations and being told 'I don't believe you' over and over again would make anyone give up.
God, is it only me that is annoyed by the MC? I read this ahead in the novel but tbh, it still makes my blood boil. If she tried a little harder, she could piece all the puzzle together, she has every piece but she's so detached from life she doesn't even want to use the resources she has. I don't like it at all, she isn't even trying a tiny bit but then again... she's exhausted and I get that, sigh. I can't wait for next chapter
