i think thats what makes kay interesting though...?? its refreshing after seeing so many of the "sweet, poor bottom" trope. is it his fault all his fwb fall in love with him? i think he's literally just aromantic and you're painting him as some kind of demon for that LMAO the whole point is that he's a regular guy who got roped into the shenanigans of insane people, so he's not gonna be as "interesting" as a grand duke and a mage. also not you saying he's not a victim after being forcefully impregnated lol wtf
This is why I kept saying that Kay is not some sweet poor bottom. Kay is just the overly indulgent type. He doesn’t know how to say no because he doesn’t have the emotional intelligence to understand relationships have feelings involved. He sees dating or fucking around almost like an instinct. He doesn’t care enough to get emotionally involved. He is absolutely emotionally unavailable. So, when people say that they felt bad about him getting pregnant and not really loving Zigril is not because he’s suffering as a poor victim. It’s not in his personality to have deep feelings for anybody because he doesn’t feel anything. He just goes with the flow with everybody. And people like this exist. It doesn’t make them victims. They simply do not care enough about anybody and don’t have the capability to fall in love.
That’s what takes spice from the story. Because there won’t ever be any progress if only one is capable to have feelings and express them. So, this story went from entertaining to boring so fast to me. And I liked Zigril and Schuman so much. It’s such a shame Kay is so bland.
