I think it's more like him saying he finds it more interesting to let this batch of kids live and then fight with raoul that to kill them and eat them.
The Absolutely God almost sounds like he could be another version of Cronus. The Greek king of the gods who swallowed his children as soon as they were born.
I'm not really into Greek mythology, but this is the 2nd time I saw Cronus in a manga in a kid/baby form (first is with Colette). I wonder if it's based on some story
Did absolute god just confirm Raoul is his child??? When his wife asked if he would eat his children again but saying they would clashing with Raoul might be interesting.
