The other guys just had enough with the timeloop and dying every round so they decided to throw away their tape and live as an npc till someone else clear the game. I think yongtaek said this to bada, not too sure lmao i might need to re read again (*´∀｀*)
Might be his character turned into a permanent npc? But his conciousness is gone from the game now.
I already read season 2, but the question of what happened then still stands!! You can also see that after that, Doha is keeping Hyungshin's tape for him every time Hyunshin tries to put it in the cassette player in the car.
I think the reason doha do that is so hyungshin didn't get in the way of bada's gameplay, yk since he keeps telling people about his 'foresight' therefore making it hard to control the situation
Or, maybe doha just being nice and didn't want hyungshin to remember about this timeloop nightmare..

So in season 1, its not Doha who took out Hyungshin's tape and/or stopped the cassette. Theoretically, they Hyunshin should've remembered what happened if he died.

HYUNGSHIN MADE IT OUT OF THE GAME. Usually during a playthrough, if you finished the game, you no longer need to save it. Since you already succeeded in finishing it. And the game data from then on is reset, unless you want to load up the game where you last saved it.
This will explain the forgotten memories for Hyungshin, but kind of a bummer where nothing really happened to the story after that?
