Tatsuya should have told his parents the truth long before that housekeeper incident. If they didn't like it, that's too f*****g bad. What an ignorant pair of assholes. They not only raised Tatsuya to be a self-loathing basket case, but tried making Kenta the same. If parents don't respect their kids, why should their kids give them any? *End of rant*
I thought that the ending would change my feelings for tatsuya but then I remembered how shit he was. He just kept on running away from his problems instead of facing them. Like if he'd just came out to his parents then they'd stop with pushing him into a marriage interview(I mean I would, I'm bi and closeted and if I find the girl that I really love, I'll come out to my parents cos I think that it'd be worth it). Or like, idk maybe decline the frcking offer?? But!! instead tatsuya brought a girl over to pretend to be his gf, and that would've been fine for me if he didn't frcking fall for that 'maybe we were just mistaken' shit!! I was even in denial in a few pages cos I thought that no way, he loves junichi... right?? But of course he fooled around and even justified himself that junichi likes girls like wtf????? And he didn't even tell junichi that he brought her home?! wtf?
At first I was like, hey maybe I can't really hate him too much, I mean he's been through some traumatic shit before(the pedophilic incident which was treated so lightly like hello?? mangaka over there r u ok? pedophilia is a real problem and it felt like u just inserted a pedo character just as a plot device for the main couple like wtf is wrong with u?) but then you can't really use that as justification as to how he acts. That incident made him hate girls, which I find really ridiculous? I mean if there's any gender he should hate, it would be men since a man nearly in his 30's assaulted him but noooooo he pushed the blame on the girl and yeah, she's to blame too since she did assist the pedo... But like I just can't not hate him and his personality???
Then they lived together happily with his child and then when there came the possibility that his child could turn gay he became all homophobic and hypocrite and ugggggghhh!!! Then ONCE AGAIN he ran away from his problems and hid the fact that he was gay from his child and made junichi live separately and i'm?!?!?!? Junichi didn't deserve this!!! And the part where he was talking to gakkun and asking him if he's sure about his feelings cos when he looks back he's not sure whether it's love or friendship he felt then and I'm just pulling my hair at this point because wtf you ruined jun's life you fucking prick!
And kenta... oh kenta. He's lowkey being homophobic. Well, maybe not really low key. wtf he told his dad that he must have influenced gakkun to be gay like wtf is you're problem?! I'm slightly happy that at least gakkun wasn't as stupid as junichi and gave up on kenta. And the parents they were also shit! Tatsuya's parents shoved a housekeeper/potential housewife as soon as junichi left!! uggggggghhhh im just really mad and frustrated cos this could've been a better story if the mangaka presented better resolutions. -___-
