Yall I was so hype for the more morally ambiguous and complex scenario that was set up in chapter 1... The reveal that mr ghost boi actually just liked MC the whole time and also never planned to try and kill his own best friend is less interesting to me.
And then of course there's Deus Ex My Friend Is Actually Just an Angel and Has Been This Whole Time Because We Need to Retroactively Explain Why the Plot Happened in a Quick and Simple Way Instead of Following Through w With the Higher Stakes Set Up At the Beginning Because Reasons IDK So Things Will Probably Work Out Dont Even Worry About It.
