I’m no eye doctor, so I can’t say for certain. But I have heard from people online claiming that when they stopped wearing their glasses they got lazy eye. I have prescribed glasses and I only wear them for maybe 2 days every two weeks. Just when my head hurts, eyes are too tired, things like that. I’ve been doing this for about 2 years now and so far haven’t noticed a lazy eye.
But, my eyesight also isn’t as bad as others because I can still see pretty clearly. I also had surgery on my eyes as a kid to strengthen my muscles from strabismus, so that might also affect things. I would say wear your glasses or try to get contacts if wearing them is too uncomfortable for you, look up eye exercises, try eye patching, and if possible go to the eye doctor and ask about it. And like I said, I have heard eye exercises can help a lot for lazy eye as long as nothing serious is going on. I hope this helps and wish you all the best
my left eye is -4.75 and my right is -3.25 — whenever someone takes a photo of me, i can see that my left eye is a lazy eye T--T i also have an astigmatism, is the high eye grade (-4.75) the reason for my lazy eye? is it possible to fix it just by doing some exercise?
