I feel cheated y'all. Isn't this supposed to be a redemption arc for jk? Shouldn't he be the one suffering the most? Instead the person who has been struggling for 65 chapters is dan.
He is broke, deep in debt, cant sleep, is alcoholic, is depressed, his grandma is dying soon and now, based on dan's reaction at the end of the ch, he might even have an illness to deal with …
To make matters worse he has to depend on his abuser to fix everything?
The "dan clinging onto jk in his sleep, crying and asking him to stay" scene feels so overused repetitive and forced. Why is mingwa making dan soooo powerless and pathetic?
I wished dan would stand up for himself and heal wo needing jk.
This story is turning into one of those stories where the abuser becomes the savior of the victim, as if he isn’t part of the misery.
