I agree. The mc would be better off without them, the fact anyone can even fall in love with them is shocking af-

At some point I want the mc to date someone else and endgame with them. Or just go monk mode and go find inner peace.
worst case is when theyre forgiven so easily. like 30 chapters of rape and abuse but boom they feel a lil bad so they prepare some stupid dinner date and theyre forgiven and live happily ever after. like watch out in ur senior home bc im gonna come bangin in when u least expect it tf
Some of these MCs and MLs getting redemption arcs/ chasing arcs don't deserve them. Like... them groveling doesn't excuse their vile behavior eww.
