I think at the end of the novel it mentions that the original soul of Pina's body saw everything that the transmitter did (the lies, the schemes, user her body for sexual favors) and didn't want to return to her body. And honestly, even if the punishment wasn't prostitution, I don't plan her. If she did gain control of her body again, how could she explain that her body was taken over by someone else w/o being called a liar, crazy or a witch? Poor OG Pina ☹
