(I REALLYYY SUMMARISED THE SPOILER ahaha so there's many things but this are the mains) The story follows a well-known matchmaker (FL) who is asked by a friend to find a wife for his visiting friend (ML). However, ML isn't looking for a wife—just visiting his friend. Unbeknownst to ML, FL was set up to find him a match. ML quickly develops feelings for FL and tries to court her, but FL misunderstands, thinking he is interested in her friend. This misunderstanding is eventually cleared up when ML heavily implies he wants FL as his wife, but she avoids him and rejects his visits. Before leaving London, ML promises to return.
At the end of the book, FL still rejects ML after a long time of him trying to court her. Heartbroken, ML finally gives up and returns home, ready to burn a shawl he took from her as a keepsake. However, just then, he sees FL arriving at his estate, dragging her luggage, having realized she can’t live without him. She proposes to him, and they quickly marry, with the epilogue focusing on their wedding.
In the side story, FL struggles with pregnancy and suffers a miscarriage without telling ML. Meanwhile, ML’s nephew, who has an obsessive nature, is scammed by a woman and becomes envious of ML’s relationship. He develops an unhealthy attachment to FL, writing to her frequently. FL, trying to be kind, advises him to study abroad, but ML overhears his confession and reacts by threatening him with a gun, cutting ties. ML is upset that FL kept secrets, leading to a brief cold war before they reconcile and work on their communication. The nephew eventually pursues his dream of studying art. FL later gets pregnant again, and they have a daughter. The rest of the side stories revolve around their family and friends.
Hopefully the manhwa will not follow the original as many manhwas do. 'Cause I can't with this drama ... the art is so pretty and so the starting concept ╥﹏╥
The freaking drama continues even in the damn side stories like BRUHHH just give us babies and happines ? For real life crap I can just get out of my bed and into the word

Though, given how naive she seems when it comes to her own feelings, it might take a while. And let’s not even start on that mysterious man she left behind 12 years ago… AIGOOOOOO, JUST MARRY ALREADY!
