He never denied he had an advantage. To simply put the point he was trying to get to:
just because someone is born with advantages, they still needed to develop and maintain those skills.
If he just relied on having a massive amount of mana, it's useless if he doesn't know how to use it properly.

Don't get me wrong, i understand and agree with what he is saying, but man that's a lot of yapping for somebody born with a killer face card, a lot of mana and rich family. Like, these thing DO play part in how your life progress.
