I understand Carla’s sentiment. She’s just being a good mother who doesn’t want to see her daughter suffer like she did, I’m sorry she was 16 and essentially taken advantage of. Her daughter could be a victim, and you’ll never know a man’s true intentions but we know since it’s a STORY. But the only reason why it’s plausible for them to be together is either leave is identity entirely or find proof that Anna is a nobleman’s illegitimate daughter.
