Oh no, according to the last raws he's the furthest thing from a homophobe now. A new chapter is released today approximately at 6PM (+01:00UTC) so imma see if I eat my words, but I'm proud of our big idiot.
I think having an arc about him combating his internalized homophobia would he awesome frankly and unique in this genre. Usually stories just go "yeah but now he likes this guy so we are gonna ignore why he acted like this in the past and never bring it up"
Hes still had an amazing character arc but I do find myself thinking about he was introduced with a "gays must die" type mentality
"He fucked up and that's why Garam didn't trust me for so long"

He's so good now, but the transformation was a full 180°. I've been reading BL for 15 years and early Jaehyuk is one of my most hated characters from a comedy/non-angsty BL.
