that was actually sad…. park gyeol… my baby… i hope you find peace now it’s not traumatising for me. was it a hard read ? yes. but bcs i can see gyeol losing his mind slowly and i imagined how much he suffered for the past 10 years. it’s not fair at all and he deserves to have a happy ending but i know that gyeol is long gone. that rapist deserves every bad thing that happened to him. just like how gyeol was haunted by that rapist for 10 years, he will be haunted by gyeol for the rest of his life. i think those who hated on this manhwa only focused on the sex part. it is so much more than that. it showed a raw and real aftermath of sexual assault and how some victims will never be the same and sane again. this is the harsh truth of sexual assault. gyeol’s “care” (apologising when he almost killed the rapist, still addressing the rapist with honorifics) towards the rapist showed a rarely talked about, trauma response.
so many people said this is very traumatising. let’s see. i’ll give my review.
