"i didn't want to hurt him so i left" WHAT LEVEL OF VICTIM MENTALITY IS THIS DON'T MAKE SELFISH DECISIONS AND PASS THEM OFF AS IF THEYRE FOR THE SAKE OF THE OTHER PERSON WHEN THEYRE NOT?? EVEN JIN-HYEON SAID SO: "it's not for my sake, it's for yours"
when jin-hyeon called him out on his bullshit i was SO RELIEVED BRO but then eun-jae's fricken heart condition was used as a flipping plot device + an excuse to try and garner sympathy from readers and have the drama wrapped up quickly (literally in one chapter)... LIKE BRO
nah lowk even jin-hyeon was made to seem like this total green flag, but most of the time it wasn't well conveyed how much he liked eun-jae, most likely because we never actually saw things from his perspective, combined with the fact that the author just jumped straight into them liking each other without even showing us that journey...
at times plot was even MISSING, like the part where they visit that friend in the hospital wasn't shown but in flashbacks after they were done visiting. also, what even was the significance of including that character?? to make us feel even more bad for eun-jae cause he's an omega?? or to emphasise the dramatic irony that jin-hyeon was being all like "you didn't deserve to hear that crap" as if being an omega was a bad thing and an insult, while eun-jae was in fact an omega all along?? if anything, that made me more irritated at eun-jae for not telling jin-hyeon sooner and letting the issue fester.
i rmb at one point jin-hyeon said to eun-jae before they went to see him, "that friend that was in hospital when YOU.. i mean i was in hospital when i was younger" or smth. LIKE HUH? made it seem like another side-plot to go thru but didnt even elaborate.
AND ALSO THEY MENTIONED THEM BEING CHILDHOOD FRIENDS AND MADE IT SEEM LIKE A WHOLE MAIN PLOT BUT THEN ONLY BROUGHT IT UP TWICE MORE AND THEN SCRAPPED IT... LIKE WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ALL THAT??
i think i lost years off of my life span reading this in one sitting each time i thought they were getting better they got worse...
