I think its because he's purposefully playing with someone else's feelings. it's one thing to be sexually active and free, its another to be a player douchebag who regularly cheats. he's fully aware that someone is genuinely into him, but only uses him for sex and money by leading him on and tricking him into thinking he's some innocent lil guy
