I'll be honest, this could lead to a terrible ending for our mc assuming this redo ability happens when he dies. If he dies of old age or of natural causes, will he still redo the very same familiar day until the end of time, or will he officially die if he dies of natural causes?

Either way, it'll be a terrible ending for him. Imagine repeating the day you died for so many times every action every one does will be so familiar that you'll go insane, and it will lead to the despair that the guy that appears during death wants

    A paradox!

I feel like he'd just have to let go and follow death when he actually wanted to die the death (the guy on the boat, I'm assuming) seemed to.be attempting to whisper him down the river, which feels like his inevitable end when he WANTS to go.

but imagine if he cant, or that guy doesnt wanna do it, let him return to the same day till eternity— to make mc fall into deep despair

I think that's his "curse". Puma lady said his curse is stronger that her curse. He'd prolly realize just how fvcked he is when he's reached his end of life "supposedly" as a weary old human.

Thats when the boatman of death will laugh his ass out.. because he'd be suffering for real by then.

That.. or they'd figure out the curse early on.. and maybe find a way to get rid of it.. or pass it on

He doesn't repeat when he dies, only when there is a wall stopping him from become a knight. In a previous chapter (during the shoemaker basement) he turns back to the previous morning without needing to die first.

Learning to stab, learning to survive, relearning the fundamentals, learning to concentrate on the opponent, learning to deal with ranged opponents.

this time it' might be learning make the best decision in a bad situation.

I'm assuming that illness and su*cide aren't included as hurdles.

If he overcomes all these walls and does become a knight, the curse may break.
