Nonononono, they ARE toxic. Shin loves toxic, that's the whole point. What makes it different is that they both acknowledge and accept it the way it is.
If you've read Checkmate and Pawn's Revenge, their relationship is somewhat similar in which it's toxic but both knows & accept it. Imo this is the kind of toxic relationship that is well written and not just senseless SA like popular toxic BLs
On paper their relationship should be toxic af. But it somehow is not, except for the career-given lying on Jakes side. Those freaky mfs are just the cutest.
