Frrrr she may be a happy-go-lucky character like other action manga/manga/manuals, but she's not dumbed down because of it. Almost every story I've read always ends up with FL becoming a damsel (just cuz of the assigned personality for some reason), having to rely on the MLs power to save her; there are times that Ed does save her, but she bounces back into action, not turning into a hinder for Ed and the group

Nah keep glazing only other female characters i see that are on par with the male ones are like in undead unluck, other worldly sword king, sakamoto days and I can't name more off the dome but the point is I don't see it often.
Im so happy the female lead is not written to be unlikable and as an actual character. This is missing in so many stories its annoying. I'm also happy there's no ecchi or harem nonsense. I'm EXTREMELY happy that the female lead doesn't look like a 6 year old "but its ok because she's over 100".
