I feel like the twin theory is a bit of a stretch but it's not like it's completely dismissible. I always got confused at the part where Ciel actually summons the demon (Which we have seen on multiple occasions) One has him being stabbed in the abdomen and the other has him signing a contract with sebastian through a cage. and it would also explain why Soma was blowing punches at him. but then again....this is all speculation and he could have just been delirious. Idk I think im gonna be pissed if it turns out to be the twin theory.

On diff. perspective, the evidences for the Twin-Ciel theory is also becoming stronger. But I wonder.. IF EVER Ciel has a twin brother, he would be dead already right? So it is impossible that Ciel's twin was the one who attacked Agni.

Toboso-sensei has a knack for blowing the readers' minds, actually even now, the thing with Undertaker is still really fresh to me and still blows me away everytime I remember it.
With the twin theory being the most popular one to the readers, I think Toboso-sensei will find a way to make our minds blow further away, with a much deeper plot, darker truths and painful twists than the readers will ever think of ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

For those who are confused about what is happening right now, perhaps my point of view can help you. BUT this is just my theory. To tell the truth, I've been having some REALLY REALLLLLLY bad feeling about this new arc. But before I start, I just want to say that, under this thread is just a theory of mine and is not meant to contradict other reader's view.
NOTE: The Gunner and Agni's killer are different people.
IN CHAPTER 126:
When Soma opened the door, he welcomed the "GUNNER" (Not to be confused with Agni's killer who used a knife to kill him.) and was acting friendly, which means it is someone he feels close to. With this, the numbers of suspects have lessened but there are still several of them.
While Agni was warming up the room by putting more charcoals in the chimney, he sees a picture of a younger Ciel. What's unexpected was Agni's changed of expression after seeing another part of the "picture". With it being the younger ciel's old photo, it means that the part he saw,and the other "person" in it is someone who knows Ciel since he was young and vice versa. This cuts a large portion of the suspects (by this time, I'm already on the verge of crying from the bad feeling it gives me)
Let's go back to Soma's scene. After inviting the "person" in, he senses that the person is acting weird. He bends slightly forward to ask if the person has a fever. Him, bending forward concludes that the person is smaller than him in height.
Then finally, the killer speaks, saying:"Don't touch me like we're pals". I haven't seen the raw so I'm not really sure about this but some sources are saying that the japanese word that was used for "me" in the sentence was for males. But, we have to note that one of the male pronouns, the japanese word "boku" was, long ago, used by females too. If "boku" was the term that was really used in the raw,then my theory is still possible. By reading this paragraph, I'm pretty sure that there are people here who already know who the gunner that I'm talking about is.
IN CHAPTER 127:
The gunner shoots Soma, enraging Agni but Soma stops him "because it is someone Soma feels he has a close association with". Agni, having come to his right mind, felt conflicted in attacking the "gunner". That is when the "real killer" with a knife shows up, stabbing Agni in the side.
IN CHAPTER 128:
When Ciel arrives, he checks if Soma is alright. Soma, having seen the sight of Ciel just right after being attacked by someone he knows, attacks Ciel out of "confusion"(as sebastian said). I think that Soma's attack was not out of confusion but rather, is something out of "distrust". He was just attacked by a person that's "really close" to Ciel, so of course he would also suspect Ciel of being an enemy.
And then Sebastian, after concluding Agni's strength, told Ciel that 5 or 10 average humans couldn't have robbed Agni's life and that they should assume that "something" unexpected happened. With the "gunner" being the "something" who Ciel knows really well.
Then here goes the biggest clues. After entering the room, after seeing the words "Who stole the ""candy"" from my tummy?", Ciel was rendered horrified after realizing who the attackers may really be. Then then next panel showed his shaking hands,his gun, and the ring of Phantomhive.
After going out of the room, Ciel saw some pieces of the burnt photo flutters away from Soma's hand. After seeing parts of the photo's content,he is even more shocked than ever. With conflicted and scared expression, he asks Sebastian the question "You wouldn't lie to me,would you?" To which Sebastian replies " Regrettably....I do not tell lies" thus assuring that Ciel's assumption is unfortunately correct, giving a more distressed expression because of the revealed truth.
The clues reeks of "Childhood memories" in it. SO FUCK MY THEORY, I HATE MYSELF FOR THIS BECAUSE IT'S TELLING ME THAT THE GUNNER IS ELIZABETH. I didn't check the previous chapters other than this so this may have lots of holes in it BUT:
*Lizzy is someone who is not a stranger to Soma and Agni so when she suddenly arrives, Soma invited her in without hesitation.
*When Agni saw a piece of Ciel’s childhood photo, he sees another one. We all know that Lizzy is also Ciel's childhood friend and her being in the photo is not something out of ordinary. The only things is, apart from Lizzy, there is another person she is within the photo and "that" someone is the reason why Agni gave that very shocked look.
*Soma slightly bends forward because Lizzy is smaller than him.
*When Lizzy said "Don't touch me like we're pals" in a manly manner, this is her when she shows her true self. Not a sweet lady-like girl with an innocent demeanor, but a female who has mastered the arts of swordsmanship and is a natural born fighter. It is true that a gun was used instead of a sword, but let's take into account that Lizzy is a natural born fighter.
*In 128, When Soma sees Ciel coming near him, he regarded Ciel as an enemy because Ciel is someone who is close to Lizzy, who just attacked him with a gun.
*Sebastian said that that 5 or 10 average humans couldn't have robbed Agni's life and that they should assume that "something" unexpected happened pertains to Lizzy who has both the talent of a skilled fighter and is someone who can make their guards down.
*the words "Who stole the candy from my tummy?" might be something that was said by someone from Ciel's childhood, rendering him horrified as he knows who has said this. OR if the "candy" really refers to the "ring", let's remember that Lizzy once snatched the ring from Ciel's finger,throws it away thus,shattering it to pieces. (but well, you know who sebastian is, returning the ringto its orignal for or recreating it or whatever is a piece of cake to him)
*And lastly, Ciel sees bits of pieces of the old photo,which contains elizabeth in it and someone from the music hall, making his assumption that Lizzy is included in the crime unfortunately correct, thus distressing him further.
I JUST SO FUDGING HOPE I'M WRONG BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE THE MANLY PART OF ELIZABETH (SHE BECAME MY FAVORITE FEMALE CHARA IN BLACK BUTLER AFTER SEEING HER SWORDSWOMAN PART, IT WAS SO COOL I JUST LOVE HER AND THE ANIMATED VERSION OF HER SCENE WAS JUST BADASS) ╥﹏╥
