I did too not bc i dont like her, I absolutely love her, but because I think it would’ve been a good way to end it, sure everyone would have been sad, but she would’ve attained her revenge on her terms, a bittersweet ending. I mean it did feel rushed so i shouldn’t be surprised that Vael sacrificed himself…

I was honestly hoping her brother would have one redeeming final act of saving her life by giving up his, though killing the emperor was more or less expected so I don’t count that
