Heya, I’ve had my ears pierced since I was about two months old, started stretching them since I was 12, id wait maybe 8 weeks before changing them, a little longer if the earring is heavy. Just make sure to clean both the piercing hole and the new jewellery (⌒▽⌒)

i was more prone to infection and my ears did not heal and it bled when i changed it around the time everyone said, and it never recovered. had to close those ones after trying everything i could and then had to pierce again, i saw gold works well for me for long time wear without irritating my piercing, the time is different for everything just be sure it has somewhat healed

Got my ears pierced almost 6 weeks ago, I've looked on Google and most sites and reddit says that at the 6 week mark you can switch them out but I've seen others say that you should do it at 8 weeks and later.
So should I? Or wait?
