I think he's longing for the ML to forgive him. Uke's been thinking about him until he was about to die. Unfortunately, looking at the past, ML's mother used to save him from drowning at the sea when they we're small but tragic happened. ML's mother was nowhere to be found, so they didn't know if she's totally dead or not. But since Uke's death, she granted him a chance to make things right and move on from the burden he's carrying. A longing that he could patch things up with the Seme and ask for forgiveness before he can depart from this world. I don't know if it's a curse or a blessing in disguise.
