I've been reading the novel (mind you, the translation is not the best) but I do not remember anything about an attack? Maybe it's later on, or as a retrospective?
Oohh. Maybe. I just remember people talking about it as spoilers here in the comsec how the Empress' people will catch up to them right before they take off to the East. It's also possible they skipped the scene entirely.
I read some spoilers back then about Lorraine and Avinox being attacked or something at the port before they could take off towards the East so I was still holding my breath for that scene but to my surprise, it seems like they skipped that as Lorraine is already in the Leuman's territory. I'm happy about that of course, it just caught me off guard since even Tia and the Empress gave a foreshadowing about waiting at the docks and how it's not too late or the chase not being finished until they reach the East, then the next time they showed them, they're already happy and peaceful at the East. Lmao.
