I mean I prefer the time skips cuz in the beginning it's the middle of summer before earthstar wins the bet (the one about the AC repaire guy) to meet the other dude in rl. I think back in chapter 1 that was the set up to where after he comes out as earthstar then their relationship can really begin, so the faster they get to summer time the better!
LOL COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE BET
They had it going by so slow at the beginning and the bet takes place about one year after he starts playing the game so they need to speed things along and get to summer time already so we can really get this party started!
