people are absolutely forgetting that, jiwon’s self doubt and anxiety are VERY bad and those two things pair very badly with all of the factors involved in his existence (being a public figure, his crush being another public figure, no awareness of how society is going to approach his being gay as a public figure which makes the worry worse) ╥﹏╥ he’s not dense by any means he’s just got a lot of anxiety problems and it’s kind of sad actually seeing comments that keep calling him dense or stupid with that context of his behaviour in mind
Honestly in the first place the mc does kind of have social anxiety, I think a lot of people forgotten that. He’s naturally anxious and he saw the ML kiss his ex who was a woman, naturally he won’t relate that the ML is gay ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I think it’s not about being dense at all, just doubt and fear that he might be wrong about how the ML feels. Cut the Mc some slack, he’s inexperienced and he wanted it to be just a crush in the first place.
