It would be funny if those "FRIENDS" were only invited out of courtesy. Cuz throughtout the chapters ash only had 2 or 1 friend really, he was only social and care free. Is what I think

I think there's a misunderstanding, either those shitty ass friends of his are just that much of a D and are spreading rumors or the ex is in on it. Like what if the ex cheated and bonded with someone and said ash and him bonded.
Because ash bonding someone he was going with the flow (considering his care free nature) with is just absurd. Especially since he LIKED nick in the past, I don't think him bonding someone else while he HAD feelings for another is right nor does it make sense.
